The shaded area is where hosts walk. Along the way they help people they come across: a wellness check, a safe walk, or getting someone to resources nearby or in touch with another service.

When to call

If you’re worried about someone, give us a call and we’ll talk it through.

When someone is in distress or unwell.
When a person needs help getting to shelter, a community clinic or a resource centre.
When someone would feel safer walking with company — home, to a bus stop, or to an appointment.
When tension is building and a calm person on the scene could keep it from getting worse.
When you want a wellness check on someone you’re worried about.

Call 911 for criminal activity, imminent danger, and serious medical distress.
